I consider myself someone who is extremely lucky to have found a hobby that I get to do professionally. I've been working as a developer now for three years now - but calling it "work" would be a stretch. I haven't yet gone to bed or woken up one day and had that "Oh no, another day of work feeling". Not once(!) since starting to do this full time.
After spending far too many years working within hospitality after finishing university in Brighton, England, I stumbled upon the idea of learning to code. It sounded like the perfect package. Always learning. Problem solving. Creative. Challenging.
I spent just over a year learning the basics of web development from all the resources I could find online. Made a handful of projects, and then dived in to the job market. Luckily enough I landed a job relatively quickly.
Hi, I'm Ed š
Developer, BJJ enthusiast, and lifelong learner
Iām currently working at Coolstuff, tackling different aspects of the stack. From designing and implementing new customer-facing features to expanding our internal tools, building our personalised product processing pipeline, managing CI/CD, and everything in between.
I've been using Svelte a lot both at work and in my personal projects. I'm in love. But I've needed to jump back into React. So I decided to build this little site here using Next.js.
I love to spend time with my family, have a passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, building new projects, playing drums, and anything to do with the Argentina national football team.
